I ask myself how do I stay steadfast in opposition to violence and not allow any anger or intense judgement to enter my heart? Also, how can I act to be supportive of the path I see for a happier world? Directing our responsibility and our mission matters. Thank you for sharing words of peace.

Oodles of wisdom here. Thanks for sharing. I believe the first time a reference of the quote, “Seek revenge and you should dig two graves, one for yourself” was in a book called “The Mikado’s Empire” by William Elliot Griffis. It’s a history book on Japanese adages. Another quote I particularly enjoy, regarding even breeding ill will in one’s mind, is “Curses are like young chicken: they always come home to roost”.
